Is there a problem with my router
Last response: in Networking
I have forwarded port 82 correctly.However, when l check if the port is open l get an error message saying connection refused. I have also turned on the dmz option on my router but l still get the same error message saying connection refused. it is also important to note that there is no application running on port 82 or all the the ports l have tried so far. I am not familiar with actiontec routers but when you open the port is there a option to choose udp or tcp or both? If so and you have it on both try making two entries so for example have one set to udp and the other set to tcp.
