Hi everybody,

I'm buying a computer this Friday and I would need your help to get the right PSU for my
computer.

Here is the config. I'm buying:

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

Core: Intel Core i7-950 (3,06GHz)

Motherboard: Intel DX58SO2

Graphic Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX580UD 1536Mo (only 1 card not 2 in Sli)

RAM: 3 Sticks of 4Gb (Total 12Gb) Kingston DDR3 1333MHz

Monitor: LG 23" HD (W2343T-PF)

HDD: Western Digital 1 To Black (64MO / SATA2-300)

Disk Burner: LG Blu-Ray 10x

The proposed PSU are the following: Cooler Master Silent Pro 600W, Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W or the
Cooler Master Pro M850.

The AC input / DC output grid are:

for the 600W: http://www.coolermaster.com/upload/product_feature/SilentProM600-6.jpg

for the 700W: http://www.coolermaster.com/upload/product_feature/SilentProM700-6.jpg

and the 850W: http://www.coolermaster.com/upload/product_feature/SilentProM850_6.jpg

What should I choose for my system to be stable while playing video games?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Have you got all the components..? If not then please change the motherboard.. There are better alternatives available.. This one for example -

www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131665&cm_re=asus_sabertooth_x58-_-13-131-665-_-Product

As for the PSU, check out this combo -

www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.641809

If you are not interested in that combo then Davcon has already sorted out the PSU for you I guess.. I'll recommend this video card though (since you are not interested in SLI ever) -

Thank you Emperus for your suggestions it's really appreciated! Unfortunately I'm buying it in a store and they got sort of deals for their "selected pieces" and I cannot get other brands than the selected ones. But for the graphic card I think I can get a hand on the one you proposed since my actual Pc come from the same store and they sell Asus. By the way whats wrong with the motherboard? Is it too cheap speaking of quality or simply not as functionnal as it could be?

Thank you!

No issues sticking to the Intel board in case you cannot get a board from a different manufacturer.. My only grudge with Intel original boards are that they are stripped down on features, have a very basic BIOS and do not overclock that well.. This board though takes care of the feature issue and has a good layout.. But for the money I personally would surely want something's more..

I got the Cooler Master 850W Pro Silent and the Asus ENGTX580 DCII and finaly the proposed CPU is a i7 960 instead of a 950 they made a typo error somewhere.

Thanks everyone for your quick answers!
