hi guys

i have replace my system case

i found some cables like the "CD_IN" which i dont really understand does?

in my mobo manul they said connect the "cable to the optical drive", but they dont explain what it does.

indeed i have i connector for it in my old IDE drive , but not in my SATA drive,..

and i have the connector on my exeternal PCI audio card,......

i think it got something with helping old drives like IDE transmit music into th system but not sure....

Motherboard Master

It connect from your DVD drive or CD drive to your sound card.

Its making your cd drive act like a CD player, you can play the audio CD without using any application, by inserting the audio CD.
