Probibly a stupid power supply question

I see all these different cases that say top and bottom mounted psu. Does each psu have a specific way it can be mounted like top or bottom only? Or can all psu mount either way? Sorry I'm a newb at this

Either way it doesn't matter with a standard ATX psu.
If you're looking at case and psu ,i would suggest a case with bottom mount for the psu.
It's much easier to deal with excess cables.
Stick with reliable brands for psu like Antec,Corsair,XFX,OZC,and Seasonic.

As Davcon said, either way. But you have to be careful with some PSU/Case combinations because a lot of the time you can end up with power cords not long enough to reach some components and end up having to use extenders.

I'm getting a XFX 650w and as for the case I wanted an AZZA solano 1000r.

It is very common for the CPU power cable to be too short when using bottom mounted PSU.
