I recently purchased:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00518M77U/ref=oh_o01_...

and

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W2T2UQ/ref=oh_o01_...

I have not built a computer in years and I am completely stumped. On the motherboard there is a ATX 12v connector, and on the PSU there is a EPS12v connector. I can connect the EPS12v connector into the ATX with a little bit hanging off the side.

My question is: Is this safe or will something fry?

Thank you in advance.

You'll be fine. EPS gives you extra connectors that your motherboard doesn't need.
