SC GTX 470 to GTX 570

Hi Everyone,

Is it worth the extra $100 to up grade my current EVGA Super Clocked GTX 470 to a EVGA GTX 570 using their step-up program? Does the extra cash justify the extra performance gain? The reason I chose the GTX 570 is because it would work with my current PSU... Thanks in advance...

Yes, it's worth. GTX570 is faster and much cooler than GTX470. So yes, it's worth $100.

You should be able to extend the overclocking ability of the gtx 570 if you can disable the power throttling mechanism "prevents extra heat buildup" with a new gpu-z utility thats floating around, google it. there definitely is one for the 580 so why not also work for the 570 or at least one for it too.. I'm fairly set on getting a 570 as i have a 460 even though it's been good to me so far
