I am too looking to build system in a weak. So I am not gonna give any advise, but rather opinion.

cpu: i5-2500K
motherboard: P67 (have to wait til April)
ram: 1x4gb ddr3 corsair 1333mhz for 50$ -20$MIR right now on TigerDirect.com
Here is little better price on the gtx460 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162055

My limit is 650 w\o monitor, and I will manage to fit in there. For your money it possible to go with better gpu or cpu.

If that psu is still NIB, send it back and get the money. For $900 you can have a decent Sandy Bridge build.

Never ever get 4x1gb of RAM. You do not want all your RAM slots filled up creating heat, also it leaves zero path for adding more not to mention that deal at TigerDirect is a complete rip off.

You can get decent Mushkin RAM at newegg (2x2gb) for $40 and free shipping.

I think I made a mistake with 4x1. It is one stick 4GB Ram.
Sorry =P

will fix my previous post.

I think you have a sufficient money for i7 instead of SB or older i5-760. It is waste of money to buy i5-760 now that it is only 20$ cheaper. But I am not sure how older i7 is better then i5-760 and SB(probably even beats older i7). I don't want to wait too. Even considering buying cheap cpu+mobo combo on newegg (100-200$). But I would have to wait longer to then upgrade to new 2500k-2600k. Waste of money too I think, so I will wait

This includes Windows 7 and a monitor. Subtract from this build what you already have.

The 950 is a 1136 build....triple channel memory, etc...

The fact of the matter is...your going to lose out big by not waiting until April. A 2500K Sandy Bridge goes for $230, less when you combo it on newegg with a mobo. The Sandy Bridge mops the floor with any cpu out there atm.

i7-870 [290$] vs. i5-2500k [228$] http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/107?vs=288
i7-950 [297$] vs. i5-2500k [228$] http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/100?vs=288
i7-950 [297$] vs. i7-870 [290$] http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/100?vs=107
i5-760 [210$] vs. i7-870 [290$] http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/191?vs=107

New i5-2500k is better than any of these. Yet for the money I would guess i5-760 is better. It just not a significant difference in 760 vs 870 vs 950, and 875k is 340$ which is so crazy cause i7-2600k will cost about that. You can pay 80$ more for older i7 but the difference is less better than newer i5-2500k for just 18$ more. I am not hardware pro but I think many will agree it is wasting of money.

P.S. - already got all the parts for my build except for cpu and mobo (left ~300$ to spend on that).

@Why_Me do you think newegg will have combos on i5-2500k in future? I was debating to buy just a cpu now, thinking that it may go up in price. What do you think?

Yes those combo's will be there. Best deal on newegg will be the AsRock Extreme4 P67 mobo for $154. Then you combo the 2500K with a h/s...CM hyper 212+ seems to be a hit...and that combo makes that h/s only $8. Then you combo the Samsung F3 1tb h/d with Windows 7 to save $5, then Mushkin or G.Skill RAM ftw......

Now when those boards come back in April...keep an eye on this site down below for some killer combo's (cpu/mob/hd, etc...)
