Black ink on heat sink

Hi,

I was cleaning my CPU heat sink (Hyper 212 Plus) using 99% isopropyl alcohol yesterday. I used a small microfibre cloth that I got free from an optician. The optician's logo, phone # etc. was printed on the cloth in black ink.

The thing is, when the alcohol contacted the ink, it caused it to smear. I noticed there was black ink on the cloth and immediately stopped using it. I got a new, clean cotton cloth, put some alcohol on it, and cleaned off the bottom of the heat sink. I didn't see any visible signs of ink left, but who knows? Maybe there was some left in between the crevasses of the heat pipes?

Now I'm really worried. Would the presence of the ink mixed with thermal compound cause any issues? I'm concerned about the ink residue being conductive, and if some thermal compound mixed with it and ran into my CPU pins (let's assume I used a bit too much compound, for the sake of argument), causing it to short out.

Am I just being paranoid? Thoughts?
