P35C-DS3R and ddr3

Hello, I am currently runnig this motherboard GA. P35C-DS3R with 2 Gb of ram ddr2 667 Mhz. In order to improve the performance I am thinking to upgrade the ram. Due that 1Gb of DDR2 cost like 18€ and 4Gb of DDR3 at 1333Mhz cost 27, I was thinking to buy the DDR3. So I will have twice the old capacity of ram at twice speed. Do you think this is a good deal? Will I feel some improvement in the performance?

Buy DDR3 and if in near future you want to upgrade your pc you can use the ddr3 what you are buying.

Thank you, Yeah I think that for the price of botg DDR2 and DDR3, the DDR3 is the best deal. And what is better, 1 modul x4Gb or 2 moduls x2Gb?
