www.sony.com click on Support, electronics, drivers, enter your model # there when it asks for it. See if there are Win 7 drivers for your system.
From a guess based on 99% of other Sony laptop and Windows 7 posts you installed Windows 7 on the laptop without checking for drivers first and now things don't work. If there are no Windows 7 drivers from Sony, you can try using the Vista drivers, if not, either don't use the web cam or go back to using the original OS.
