My PC freezes everytime I turn it on

Okay, so yesterday I was playing a video saved on my HDD. Then suddenly it froze.

I held the power button down to restart it and when it did it froze on the startup. I've tried many times but it does the same thing.

Sometimes these green lines appear on the windows logo. When i start up normally it constantly freezes. However, when I run it in safe mode, everything works perfectly fine.

It looks to be a GPU issue, either drivers or a bad card. Post your full specs.

Are you sure it's a GPU issue? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in safe mode. I can play 1080p videos no problem in safe mode, but whenever I try to boot it normally the freezing still continues.

Can you try your card in another computer? Looks like the card has issues with 3D not 2D which is what should have in safe mode.
I take it is software rendering when you are playing the 1080P videos!

In all seriousness though, it looks like the card might have a bad memory pipeline.
OR you should try to do a scan on your PC too.

How would I go upon doing so?

i cleaned my registry and defragged, but still no success.

I replaced my PSU, HDD, and GPU yet the problem has not been resolved. Does anybody have any idea how to fix my computer? I'll also being doing a memory test tonight to see if something is wrong with that.

I posted a thread on another website and someone said that the motherboard may be the problem. Can anyone confirm this?

If you are still having the issue after replacing those parts the motherboard could be a culprit. The freezing could be the ram let us know how your test goes.

So I ran the test for almost 10 hours, and no errors were found.

You're right, it probably is the motherboard. I'm thinking I should go back and exchange the PSU+HDD I bought for a new motherboard at Microcenter.
