I have a thermaltake case that came with thermaltake fans, but after a while, a few of my fans started running louder, until they ended up basically locked up and can barely rotate at all (I mean when I turn them myself, they won't turn at all on their own power) and now my system only has 2 fans on it and I'm worried a third may be running louder like the others started.

What I need: 2 x 140mm Case fans, 2 x 120mm Case fans (I don't care if they're powered from the motherboard or from the PSU directly)

Budget: $60

I don't care if they have lights or not.

Also, if anyone knows why my original fans died or how to prevent that, please let me know.

Some fans are simply higher quality then others.
Since you don't mention if you ran the fans 24/7 or how old they are,i have no idea why they died.
Many fans can be lubricated(3&1 all purpose oil) by peeling the hub sticker back and removing a rubber stopper.
