Hi all,

I just completed my first build 2500k+p8p67 with xfx radeon 6870.

When I turn on the power, the system and all its components appear to be working. However, nothing is coming up on the monitor.

Currently, I have the DVI cable in the graphics DVI port.

Hello yutheman;

Run through the "no video output" checklist

@WR2 - thanks for the checklist.

I completed the checklist and still have the same problem. Nothing appears to be on the monitor. The peripherals all seem to be fine. LED lights and fans are all running.

Have a spare monitor you can check out?

That's the problem. I don't have an HDMI monitor and there is no VGA port.

That monitor has D-sub (VGA), DVI-D, HDMI connections.

Test another monitor and another cable.

Oh sorry let me clarify. There is no VGA port in the motherboard or graphics card. My spare monitors only run on VGA. There is no HDMI cable port in the back of my 2494

Unfortunately, no the xfx 6870 didn't come with one. I think I'm going to call Asus and see if it's a motherboard issue.
