I want to upgrade my current laptop from 4gb to 8gb ram, but i'm not sure if it is possible with only a dual core processor. It says everywhere that it is able for an upgrade to 8gb ram, but i need some assistance. It's a 64bit laptop btw - toshiba.

According to the user manual, the motherboard supports 2 X 4GB for a total of 8GB.
