More about seasonic x750 gold 750w corsair cmpsu 750tx 750w
  1. The Seasonic is the better PSU but the Corsair is the better deal, so I would go with the Corsair.
  2. SeaSonic will always be my first recommendation. If you can afford it, snap it up and bask in the greatness that is the X-Series.

The Corsair isn't a bad second choice.
  3. You shouldn't even be considering the original Corsair 750TX, if you are considering any Corsair TX it should be the second version.

Regardless there is virtually no contest between the two unless you consider price. The Seasonic X-750 is by far the better power supply, gold efficiency, fully modular, semi-fanless.

Hyperthreading doesn't benefit from gaming, so I would suggest saving yourself the money and getting the i5-2500k.
  4. What price are you getting the X-750 for..? On newegg, the Corsair HX 850 is available at a price slightly lower compared to the price of the Seasonic X-750.. If you wish to stick with a 750 watter then getting the Corsair HX 750 or the XFX 750W Black Edition are extremely high quality units..
  5. To answer the OP's question, as others have said the Seasonic is in a league above the Corsair (which is a good PSU itself). If there's anything else out there as good, it was probably built by Seasonic using the same platform.
