Regarding my PC: when i turn on my PC, it seems all components are working except there is NO SCREEN DISPLAY and the monitor appear OK; BUT when i turn it off and wait for about an hour to turn on it again all appears perfect even the screen display seems OK. This seldom happens but it worries me hope someone knows the remedy... thanks.

When I had WinXP, the same thing wouild happen, once in a very great while. If I turned the computer off and removed the power for 20 sec or so, it would always act normal again. I haven't a clue why.

what are the specs of your rig and psu ?
I had that kind of problem also a few years ago and it turned out that the psu was on the edge of his spec and therefor sometime's was not able to power eveything up correctly.
