Nvidia 9800mGS overheating please help

hi i have an asus g50vt-x5.Whenever i start playing game like GTA episodes the temperature stays normal for about 5 minutes but after that temp. starts to increase and even reaches 107 degree and framerate minimises to even 12fps.What should i do to minimise temp. please HELP

This is a laptop right?

Are your fans running? Try downloading speedfan and see if it recognizes them. Also, make sure you aren't blocking the vents when playing.

Most likely a fan isn't working properly and in a laptop, that can make the thing heat up very fast. Get it fixed before you overheat and damage your system.

i installed speedfan and its not showing the fan but the fan is running i can feel air coming out of it

i’ve been using this for a very long. I love it. I’ve had no problem with it besides overheating which i sloved by removing the buttom faceplate and putting it on a good heavy duty cooling pad
