I'm wanting to build computer for my mom. All she really does is look up recipes and watch movies on netflix. I want it to be as cheap as possible, but with decent quality parts. I need everything except for windows 7 and keyboard/mouse.

Approximate Purchase Date: 2 to 4 weeks


Budget Range: 600 or cheaper

Even in a cheap build I wouldn't go with a Rosewill PSU. That's just asking for trouble. 7200.12 500gb are better HD's for same cost. I'd also get her 4gb RAM since it's so cheap now.

this is a micro atx board, but you shouldn't have any issues, especially since you won't be mounting HSF, GPU's or tons of RAM.

Thanks a lot. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with your build, except maybe the case because I don't think she will like the way it looks, but I'll find something. I'm going to go with that monitor also I think it will be worth it.
