Celeron r cpu 2 53ghz 256 MB RAM

Hello,
Is a computer with a Celeron r cup 2.53ghz and only 256 mb of RAM even worth trying to upgrade or add RAM to?? It is operating extremely slow now.

I would just buy a new computer, its pointless to upgrade something that would cost you more money than a new computer. Although if you need an upgrade now try craigslist or something for a faster computer for like 20$. Ive seen plently of faster computers on there that are like x4 as fast as what you have for 20$.

Depends what you want from it. More RAM would be noticeable (you'd have to track down the RAM...DDR 400?) , but even the cheapest dell you could buy would be an order of magnitude better for about $250.
