Unsure on Upgrade

Hi,
I am looking to upgrade my graphics card for Christmas.

I've looked through several reviews comparing the GTX 570 and ATI 6970 and I'm stuck about which to get.

I mainly play valve games and bad company 2 but I will get Dirt 3 and Crysis 2 when they are released.

My current system:
i7 920 @3.6GHz
6GB RAM
Palit GTX 275
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
FSP Everest 85 700W PSU

If I was to get a GTX570 Which of the two brands would be best?

So which is the best for me?

Hello and welcome to the forums
GTX 570 and HD 6970 run neck and neck in almost all games.In lower resolution
GTX 570 is better;whereas,6970 does better on higher resolutions
