Ram Upgrade Noticeable?

Okay i know these are old ram options i just dont have the money to purchase a new motherboard, cpu and ram.

Im currently running 4gb ddr2 400Mhz ram would it be noticeable if i upgraded to 800mhz?

If u are running 400MHz, the 800MHz may not be compatible and the difference will not be noticeable.

More RAM would be better if u can manage.

Yes, that's why i was wondering if it would be better to buy new ddr2 800mhz ram rather than ddr2 400mhz, although i can only find 800mhz really since that is the standard. So it is probably what im going to purchase. But another 2x 2Gb ddr2 should do the trick.
