gaming performance would be better spent upgrading your graphics card directly versus the platform in which it currently resides. if you had the original phenom quad cores that would be a different situation.

Phenom II should suffice for another year or two.

i see vids in youtube from people that have amd phenoms II x4 with gtx 580s and hd 6970s and everything seems pefects no performance problems, in conclusion, in your case, the GPU will make the difference

I can confidently say that I'm not going to be getting rid of my X4 965 on an MSI 790FX-GD70 for a long time. Does everything I want it to right now, and I'll probably just drop in an HD 6970 or similar when my 5770 stops being able to handle the games I want it to run.

But no. It wouldn't be worth it. Invest your money somewhere else until your Phenom actually gets outdated and can't do what you want it to.

I Have The Sapphire Radeon 5770 Vapor-X 1 Gb, So Is Wort It Getting The New CPU Or Should I Better Upgrade My Graphic Card? Cause I Was Thinking To Go With The Radeon 6950 When I Get The Money For It XD

Tnx But Should I Get The 1 Gb Version Or 2 Gb ? Is There Any Big Diffrence Between The 1 Gb And 2 Gb Version?

A 6870 is good enough to use ultra settings on any game at 1920 x 1080 so the 1Gb one should be great but the 2Gb one can be flashed to a 6970 which would future proof it for an extra year ish.
