I have the following computer specs and was looking to buy a new graphics card.

Intel Core i3-550 processor(4MB Cache, 3.20GHz)
6GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz - 3x2GB
1TB Serial ATA 2 Hard Drive 7200 RPM

I was looking at the Radeon HD 5670, but realized that the computer has a 300w power supply. I see a lot of conflicting information online about the power supply required - some people say they're running it just fine on 300w, others are saying it definitely requires much more. Can anyone recommend any cards in around the same price range ($50-100?) that will run with a 300w power supply?

According to the Radeon HD 5670 product specs, the card consumes less than 75W under full load, so it sounds like it should be fine?

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks much!

With 3 sticks of ram and that processor you might be cutting it close. What is the brand of the PSU? Thanks.
