This is my config:
Phenom 555 BE, will unlock/overclock
Asus M4A88TD-M EVO
G.Skill Rip Jaws 1600 MHz CL9
Corsair VX 550
CM Elite 430
Samsung SyncMaster 920 NW 19' LCD. Max/Native resolution 1440x900.

So guys, please recommend me a card for this config. Card which will not be bottlenecked. Looking for second hand options too. Also, this is also a download rig, so basically on 24x7 I don't need a power hog. And lastly I'm not a hardcore gamer. But would like to game. No intention to upgrade display in the near future.

I just got a hd6850 which I am very happy with. :) That is more of a gaming card though. I would say maybe a hd5770 if you are not going to be maxing out every game and not doing too much gaming anyway.

P.S. You might not be able to unlcok that 555BE.

The HD5770 popped in my head after looking at your specs. It appears to be a decent matchup. You could also go with this if you want to play in Greenville:

I always buy EVGA or XFX whenever possible due to the customer service and warranty you get with their products.

If you want to save a few more bucks then go with this if you don't mind fooling with rebates:

They all have rebates but the last card would be the cheapest option and any of these cards will give you decent game play when you decide to do so...

An HD5770 or even a 768mb GTX 460 won't be overkill but if it is more than you want to spend taking things down a notch won't hurt much at your resolution. Basically I would be looking at the following cards;
GTX 460 768mb > HD5770 > GTS 450 > HD5750 > GTS 250 > HD4850
All of those will be quite good and allow you to max out the settings on the vast majority of current games. I would only go below that if you really can't afford any of those but the 9800GT or HD5670 would still be very capable for your resolution.

You could drop down to a 5750 and it would be good too but the price is so close you are best to stick with the other options I mentioned first. I can't justify suggesting anything lower since you mentioned you would want to game some of the time. You will appreciate having a decent card for the money when you decide to use it...
