Good for gaming?

I am trying to sell my current computer and get a newer, and nicer one. I was wondering if this machine would be good for most gaming, like COD, BFBC2, and SC2. From what I know (I am not a newbie) this looks to be a great budget gaming machine. Here are the specs:

What resolution monitor will you be using with that X6 1090T & HD 6850?

My res. is 1280x1024. I wanted the strong CPU because my res. relies on the CPU and not the GPU. So a mid-range GPU, and a strong CPU to handle the res. would be good.

The HD 6850 falls somewhere between the HD 5770 and HD 5850 in gaming power.
But for a 1280x1024 monitor it's going to be 'good'.

Okay, my dad likes to do thing on my computer sometimes too, so he might like the 6-cores. Although, i wanted the strong CPU to handle the res. (1280x1024) and the GPU to handle the rest of the graphics.

I am saying that my resolution (1280x1024) will rely on my CPU and not my GPU. I wanted a good GPU to handle everything besides the res. and my CPU to have many cores to handle anything I through at it.

The resolution is not CPU dependent. 1 core, 6 cores, the resolution doesn't change.

Most FPS games are GPU limited before they are CPU limited. RPGs and SIMs lean harder on the CPU, but rarely get any use out of the extra two cores on a hex core.
That's one reason why the X6's are priced so close to the X4's.

Actually because my res is low it doesn't take advantage of my VRAM. It will take advantage of my CPU.
