Asrock m3a770de and 8gb of vengeance ram

Just installed 8gb's of corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 ram to go along with 2gb of ddr3 1600 ram(forget the brand) and its not showing up. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Is it showing up in the BIOS? If not, check it is installed correctly. If it is installed correctly, see if it works on its own. If it does show up in the BIOS, check that you haven't specified to only use 2 GB – Control Panel > Administrative tools > System Configuration > Boot tab > advanced options > memory at the top.
