Hi all,

I have a system configuration as follows:

1) AMD phenom 955BE
2) Biostar TA 890GXE
3) 4Gb ram Corsair.

Now I already have an IGP HD4290

Planning to buy a HD 5750 (Am getting a good deal)

Just want your opinion on how good the graphics card is with my system. I am a vey light gamer (Just fifa 2011 and fifa manager and may be occasional NFS)

Or should i go for something higher?

If your resolution is below 1080p that should be quite good. If it is 1080p it should still be fine considering you are a light gamer but you will see notable benefits from going with an HD5770 and an HD6850 or GTX 460 would be very good if you can afford them.

here are my sepcifications:

Monitor: 23inch HD resoulution
PSU: Corsair 600W CX

Budget is not a problem as such, but i would like to keep it to a minimum.

More like the minimum requirement if you want to be able to max out most games but considering "Budget is not a problem" they are the appropriate cards in this case.

Minimum because what is the point if you're gaming at full HD without good image quality settings, right?

The dilemma I am facing is I am a part ubuntu guy too...and proper drivers does not seem to be there for AMD HD6850 in linux

So it is either HD 5xxx series or Nvidia Cards for me right now.

Correct me if I am wrong

Ignoring the squabbles, now i am leaning towards GTX 260.

Has linux support, good performance and everything i ask for.

So i think that would be a good choice.
