Hey Guys,

Can anyone help me with a good choice in RAM for a Gigabyte X58-UD3R revision 1 Mobo? I am looking to increase from my current RAM OCZ 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10666 Platinum XTC Triple Channel Memory Kit CL7 1.65V, just as I have seen some really cheap deals at the moment on memory here in the UK.

I have seen some good offers at Scan and EBuyer etc on 12gb Corsair packs etc, and would be grateful for any advice on clock timings etc and value for money?

Thank you!!

Depends, are you getting rid of your OCZ set? If not then please post a link with the exact set. I'd go for Corsair from what you've listed, 3x4GB DDR3-1600 @ 1.50v~1.65v.

If you post a link where you shop I'll look and post a couple of recommendations.

Hey Jaquith,

That's great many thanks, I will order that set now, and hopefully along with the new 7970 I am ordering as well, this rig will keep me up to date for a while yet?! Seriously, many thanks for your help!!

Just one more thing, how do I close this thread as solved?

Thanks for your advice!!
