Best usb wireless n adapter

My impression is that you would be well advised to buy an n adapter from the same brand as the n router you use to ensure compatibility. Hopefully this is changing, though.

Personally I would avoid USB if there's any alternative.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of the compatibility issue. I wanted a USB adapter because 1) I wanted portability and 2) I wanted it for access on computers I normally won't have connected to the network, just to download something (update, etc.) every once in a while. For my connection on my computer I'll probably use network cable, as that sounds like the way to go. Thanks again!
