Antec 902 front audio isn't working?

ok i have a new rig with a p67 sabertooth mobo. i pluged in the AC 97 cause the hd one won't reach? Could that be the problem?

Yes if you have Win7 as an O/S you need to have the HD audio lead in the fp audio header.

Uggh!Asus bottom left hand corner header nice!
Mine is on the far left in the middle of the mobo = reaches.Gigabyte
Btw i have a 902.
And yes it will be a problem if you use the fp audio ports.
You could always buy a decent soundcard for $50-80 that has a fp header.
Sounds better then onboard by far.
