New Graphics Card

Hey guys, i have a core i3 540 processor and a thermaltake 500watt powersupply with 2 6-pins and 1 8-pin.(+12V1 24A) and (12V2 18Ampa) Combined is 42 Amps.My mobo supports full pcix16 express and has 2 of em slots.Now, what is the best graphics card i can get?

aight guys, i have $500 budget, monitor resolution 1680x1050 to 1920x1200 (1680 more likely) Definetly not SLI or CF plan, just a powerful single card.

For that budget, GTX580 ($500) or GTX570 ($350).

Edit: Sorry, I forgot about your power supply, the 580 needs about 650 watts. The 570 needs 600 watts.

For your budget+PSU I think HD6850/HD6870 is more suitable...
That would be enough to maxed out almost anything at 1680x1050.
