I've got a 9400gt, MSI, 1gb ddr2, and its fan is giving off weird noises thats driving me crazy, whats the most effective solution other than purchasing a new graphics card?
the current temperature range with the fan is 35~40 on mid/nil load and 70 at extreme load(hours of gaming)

Remove the fan shroud and oil the bearing a little, there are lots of tutorials on google.

Try cleaning the fan at first.
