Network with windows xp home windows xp prof vista and lexmark printer printer c

Hello,
Windows xp prof is hard wired to linksys router and brother mfc 440cn printer and lexmark x6170 printer and windows xp home connected to network via netgear adapter and windows vista computer connected via d-link dwa130 adapter. all computers print to Brother and xp home and xp prof print to Lexmark 6170, but vista can't print to lexmark and vista keeps saying I need to add a printer even though both printers are showing on computer

Do you need to add the printer's driver to the Vista computer ?
