N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX

Processor upgrade information

Max TDP: 95W
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
NOTE: Only Socket AM3 processors are supported with this motherboard.
AMD Phenom II X6 10xxT Six-Core (Thuban core)
AMD Phenom II X4 9xx/9xxe/8xx Quad-Core (Deneb core)

Most likely they didn't updated that info correctly, only the CPU chart and that is important.

U could double check with them, but the mobo was made well before the 125W CPU's so that 95W max. is just stuck in there.

The important part is that the 125W CPU was added to the chart!

Welcome to Toms Forum! :)

Not exactly true there are 95W of each so be very careful; see -> http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/processors/pheno...

Frankly, I hate when MOBO's list generic CPU types without specific OEM/BOXED model numbers.

My best piece of advice is to, I assume, contact HP. I'd bet money a 125W AMD CPU won't post.
