I'm looking for any feedback on the following DAW build for a customer. I have never built with audio recording in mind. Here are the specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 435 (Unlocked 4th core with L3 and slight overclock to 3.1Ghz)
Hard drives: 500GB 7200rpm 16MB for OS and programs, 1.5TB 7200rpm 32MB for recorded audio
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333
Soundcard: M-AUDIO Audiophile 192
PSU: COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS-500-PCAR-A3-US 500W ATX12V v2.3 Power Supply

They will be using the usual recording software: Pro Tools, Sonar, etc...

There budget was $700. Would this build be adequate? Thanks for your responses!

The Earthwatts = means that it comes 'eco-friendly' without a power cord.
Even picking up a new $3 cord you'll save a few bucks and get a better PSU.

Appreciate the input on the power supply, however I have already ordered the parts. Was looking for input on what the system might be lacking for use as a DAW. Considering the budget was $700 I was not able to go with the Core i5 750 that I had wanted to originally. Unfortunately the audio card took me out of that price range :pfff:
