I built my pc about a year ago and it randomly freezes. Seems to be mainly when copying files and other things. I've tried replacing the main drive with a SSD, adding more memory, switching from integrated graphics to hd5670 but it's still freezing.

My specs:
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 motherboard
2x2GB OCZ ddr3 1600 reaper memory
2x4GB Corsair ddr3 1366 memory
AMD 965 3.4GHZ quad core proc
5x2TB drives
1x1TB drive
SATA bluray drive
64GB corsair C300 SSD (system drive)
ATI HD5670 CPU
Not sure of power supply believe 500-650watts

I'm thinking it could be my power supply but don't know how to troubleshoot since it'll sometimes work for weeks and sometimes for a few minutes. It works great but then will just freeze with everything frozen on screen. I'll then restart but have no errors in event viewer or anything. I was copying music to the ipod (music was on server) and it froze 5+ times and would only sync 100-200 songs before freezing.

I would just upgrade your PSU Corsair 850W you have top of the line hardware except PSU

Wasn't at home when writing the original post. Check and PSU is a coolermax and i believe it's 650 (infi covered by case) I removed the OCZ reaper memory and everything seems to be working fine now. I believe the issue was with the memory timings as the XMS was 9-9-9-24 at 1.5v and the reaper is 7-7-7-24 at 1.7v. So now i'm down to 8GB and have this 4GB just laying around....
