Was looking at getting around 650w or so, but realized belatedly that perhaps I didn't need quite so much. Especially not if I'm only going to run a single card. Specs are below, but note that I am leaving the possibility open to SLI the 5770 (as I already have one), as an option to upgrading to a new GPU board entirely.

If I don't SLI, shouldn't 500 or so be enough? Looking at future-proofing, should I be going with at least 600? Would prefer something modular, will only be considering Corsair, Seasonic, and possibly Antec depending on the model (had one crap out on me last year after 1.5y runtime), and am hopefully gonna spend under 90 bones (been prowlin on eBay.)

MB: AsRock Extreme4 p67
CPU: i5 2500k (probably @ 4.4ghz)
RAM: 2x4GB GSkill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 CAS9
GPU: XFX 5770 (stock)
HD: 2 SATA 7200rpm Seagates (one 250gb, one 500gb)
Cooler: Hyper212+
4 120mm case fans in an old Antec p180
PSU: You tell me! :p

Radeon HD 5770 CrossfireX (dual GPUs)

A second card requires you to add another 108 Watts. You need a 600+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system. That power supply needs to have (in total accumulated) at least 55 Amps available on the +12 volts rails.
