Use old HD with everything on it

If I stick my old HD with Windows and everything else on it into a new build, is there stuff that I will need to do once I power up for the first time?

Reinstall Windows as it will probably not boot at all. None of the drivers will match up. And depending on the age of the harddrive and new computer you plan to use, you might not be able to use it all. IDE, SATA
