I can't see where it specifically states you can unlock cores, but I thought all the newer ASUS boards could. Not a problem if you don't have a cpu that has cores turned off. Its decent CPU and very popular with people because the price and multi-core that u can overclock safely to 4.1 GHz and capitalize on the great deal with great performance. If I'm not going to overclock will the Asus one still work fine? Correct. More phase power is great for OC, the higher the number, the more stable and higher overclock. So, if u don't OC, u are fine : ) Its a good board. U can OC as well, try little by little : ) Share mynameiskobe January 21, 2012 12:13:07 AM ok thanks for all your help.
