Hello tom's community:

I am in the process of building my first computer and want it to be extremely upgradeable. I believe that getting dual 3.0 x16 PCI-E slots is the way to go.

However I have not been able to locate a motherboard that can satisfy these parameters, does anyone know if there is a decent motherboard that fills these specifications and if not whether one will be released relatively soon?

If not that then could you advise me to a Motherboard with "options" for 2x Graphics cards running at high speeds that can be overclocked and has the power to handle a cooling system?

Thank you for any information

Sincerely, PC Guy

January: In October last year I posted the above question and was notified that one would possibly be released in January with the new Ivy Bridge and so I have returned in search of answers as I have not been able to locate any concrete data myself.

Thanks again!

as far as I know, there are none for 1155 chipset. There are, however, some for 2011 chipset. see toms review of 4 2011 mobo's

2011 chipset are sandybridge-E and require x79 mobo
