Prebuilt substitution idea?

I was wondering if it would be smarter to sub out the processor and case of the Prebuilt enthusiast design for this?

seems like you would get a better processor for cheaper but maybe I am mistaken. Can anyone weigh in?


Or to make the question easier, is the 1100T better than the 1090T?

Or to make the question easier, is the 1100T better than the 1090T?

It is slightly better, but if you don't mind overclocking (with the included CPU cooler installed) you can nudge the 1090T into a higher performance range, at a lower price. Here is a comparison between the 1090T & 1100T

For gaming, the amd 6 core processors are not very good. Higher clocked duo's and quads are better.
