I am getting a good deal for the HIS 6850 and an AMD 965 black edition for $260

From Newegg I am buying-

The total is going to be about $650. i already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and disk drive. So is there anything else I need? like wires, screwdriver, more fans, etc?

Some other questions-

About how long should it take to make the computer?

Is it difficult?

Any tips for first timers?

Ditch that psu for something better...antec, corsair...even ocz...but if your psu goes there's a good chance it's taking everything with it. Otherwise that build looks fine imo.

+1 on this. It's old tech, without apfc. Your PSU is one of the most important parts of your PC, It's like the heart pumping the life sustaining electrons to the rest of the PC :D

You definitely do NOT want to "cheap out" on the PSU!
This would be better:

and better still:

And if this was in stock, I'd recommend it:

Good luck

Here's a good ANTEC case & PSU for $120:

It has a 500 watt Earthwatts PSU. :bounce:
