Power Supply Unit, Advice Required

Hi all

I'm seeking opinions and advice on the following Power Supply Unit.

Antec 450W PSU - 120mm Fan VP450 4x SATA 1x PCI-E

Is it a good PSU?

I'm told by somebody that Corsair 430W CX PSU 4x SATA 1x PCI-E would be a better option however I'm wondering if it'll be to cope with a graphics card like ATI Radeon 5770 as it requires a minimum of 450 Watt?

I'm willing to spend between £30 - £35.

  1. Hello!

no specs?give us your pc specs for a clearer view of your gaming needs.
  2. MSI 880GM-E41 Motherboard
AMD Phenom X4 II 955 Processor
    4GB Kingston RAM
    500GB HDD
  3. I'm sure it costs a lot more than £35. I'm just willing to spend between £30 - £35 as it's for a budget PC. Is there any other viable option?
  4. i would say it would be ok to run the 5770 on a 430w psu.But do this on your own terms.

But yeah it would be ok.
