Hi, new to the forum. I have a recently built desktop with an MSI 870A-G54(FX) motherboard, AMD FX-8120 8 core processor, and 16 gb ram, running Windows 7. The system has been freezing since day one. I only use the computer for work related online activity, no gaming. The ram demand is very low, and the core temperature is low, around 25C. I noticed on the AMG icon on the desktop that the VID is 1.2250V. Should this match the voltage in the bios, and is it changeable in the bios. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

that is the correct voltage for that CPU, My 8120 is right at 1.23v at stock. As to why your computer is freezing, I'm not entirely sure. Did you flash your BIOS to the latest version after installing Windows? You may need to reinstall your copy of windows 7 as well.
