Powerline with a switch

Hi guys, i was looking into powerline networking for my house. I was going to purchase this d-link set http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/reviews/index.cfm?reviewid=3229706 I was just wondering if i could connect a switch to one end of the connection so i would have more ports to use, see below

Room1: Modem>Router>Powerline adapter>mains socket
Room2: Mains socket>Powerline adapter>switch>pc/xbox

would this work?

You probably can connect a switch.

I would counsel caution in buying powerline adapters as success depends very much on how your home is wired. There can also be noise issues affecting audio and wireless equipment -- sometimes extending to your neighbours.

Suggest agreeing with retailer on a refund in case there are problems.
