Hello,
I have a dell precision 690 with a 3.0 Intel xeon 5160 WoodCrest processor, Socket 771 LGA. This processor sits on a FoxConn LS-36 motherboard (CN-0MY171-13740-76J-007J) aka DELL model MY171 Intel Chipset 5000x; Southbridge Intel 6321esb, which the guys from DELL calls it a "upside down motherboard" for a upside down layout of a case. These cases are built like that for cooling reasons.
Does anybody know if I can get a new motherboard for this kind of case, to replace the old one?
I hope I gave all the info necessary.
Thank you for any helpppp.

I am interested in a 250-300 dollar motherboard that supports SATA 6GB/s, SLI, CrossFire X, PCIe 3.0, USB 3.0, UEFI BIOS for OC, at least 32 gb memory ..... and latest processor.

Am I asking for too much as far as the motherboard?
Thank You

yes i will buy a processor too ..... I am thinking about a quad core processor around 300-400 dollars or the best processor 3-400 dollars can buy. I understand that a Sandy Bridge Intel is pretty good. I will also buy a SSD HD nad memorywhich is cheap. I have a 1kw power supply and a evga 580 gtx video card.
