You can look at the video card and see what the MFGR's recommend for the whole system with that video card.

The basics for the whole system:
Requirements; Minimum of a 450 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 Amps.)
Two available 6-pin PCI-E power dongles

What options do you have in the area of a 450W-500W PSU?

I would shoot for a 550W PSU, 700W if ever want to SLI. You could go even higher if you want some extra breathing room.

IMHO, you're asking the wrong question. An oversize PSU is the cheapest insurance you'll ever buy for your rig. Save money elsewhere.
