No wireless signals Tags: Connectivity Dell Inspiron Radio Windows XP Wireless Networking Last response: October 4, 2010 10:15 PM in Wireless Networking Share mcahill6912 October 4, 2010 9:41:01 PM after reinstalling xp on a dell inspiron I can see NO wireless network at all. No switch on the laptop to turn on the radio. How do I activate the radio/wireless networks? More about : wireless signals Anonymous October 4, 2010 10:15:34 PM See the manual for how to activate wireless (it's usually a physical switch or an Fn key combination unless it's an older model which seemed to just leave the wireless on all the time.) If no joy, probably you need to install the driver for the wireless adapter. Go to Dell's support site and use the Dell Service Tag (usually pasted onto the case) to find drivers for your model.
