AMD Bulldozer Pricing

Hi guys,

We know that fx 4110(4core) will compete with the i5 2400(4core) and fx 8110p(8 core) vs i7 2600k(4 core) as per their pricing.But the question is will fx 4110 beat i5 2400 in terms of performance??Isn't the comparison a bit weired!!

Now we see that i7 2600k is around 30% faster than i5 2400 on average (less than 15% in gaming).

But there should be a hell lot more difference between fx4110 and fx 8110 in terms of performance (4 core vs 8 core).ie I suppose the performance difference between the two BDs should be more than 50% .Isn't it ??

So if the rumours on pricing is correct then we can conlude the following:

1.either fx 4110 is comparable to i5 2400,and fx8110 blows 2600k by a huge margin.
2 or fx 8110 is comparable to 2600k ,and i5 2400 blows fx4110 by huge magin.

Which one do you think is gonna happen if the pricing is correct??

I thought more cores (i'm thinking of the 2600k's hyperthreading) didn't have much of an impact on gaming.
