Asrock Extreme 7 Gen 3 Vs Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z

Hi, I'm debating between picking these two z68 mother boards. The Asrock Extreme 7 Gen 3 or the Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z. They are both very feature rich boards. But there are a few notable differences. Such as the Asrock boarding having pcie 3.0. But the maximus I think has better audio and a few other tricks. What do you guys think?

Buy Asrock and for 40-50$ you can buy a dedicated audio card and still cheaper than Asus.

The extreme7 is a NF200 board effectively doubling the pci-e lanes from 20 ondie to 20+20. That's where the price difference comes in.

If you're planning on running a 3x gpu setup, you'll need an NF200 board, otherwise not so much. Either way at this price point you've moved into X79 territory and should be considering the 3820 + entry Z79 like the Extreme3.
